Meat Link UK Limited is a family-owned business founded in 2001 by Michael Newing, who brought substantial expertise from his many years in the meat industry following in his fathers and grandfathers’ footsteps. As the company established its position in the market, Emma Newing joined to manage administration and finance, accompanied by Mel Ellis, another seasoned professional in the meat sector.
Recognising new opportunities for expansion, Sakis Politis joined the team, enabling the company to diversify its customer base and supply catering butchers, wholesalers, restaurants, and related outlets. In June 2018, following the retirement of Mike and Mel, a management buy-in led by Emma and Sakis, along with Gary Hughes and Jason Willis was completed.
Operating with the same founding principles, Meat Link UK Limited has made significant investments in its valued workforce, facilities, operational systems, and its own fleet of refrigerated vehicles. We offer an efficient service delivering both whole pallets and boxed products to customers nationwide.
